So this truck was bought new, by my grandfather's brother-in-law. When he died it went to my grandfather, who had it for a good 9 or so years. When he passed away in 2002, I got the truck.

So now I'm rebuildiing it. Pretty much a complete remake of what I want the truck to be. But I am keeping pretty much all the original parts. Just upgrading or replacing what needs to be. Its a 1977 F150 Supercab longbed with the "Custom" package. Basically whats marked as an XL these days. Except this one even has a radio delete and a dealer installed A/C. Its got the 300 L6 with a C6 trans.

My goal is to use this paint scheme:

But colors similar to these:

But looking at using a blue closer to that on my 08. and a gunmetal grey more like Revin's Fiero.

Here is the old valves and the new valves:

will post more pics as I get more done. It's slow going though. Too busy at work with customers jobs to work on mine...

the repaint.. look at the white sides and the white on the tail gate,, I'd delete the white on the tail gate, as the two don't line up.. the side white is lower than the gate..

good luck with it... if it was me,, I'd get an aod and sell the c6..
