Same bolt pattern, so yes.
Dunno if it'll fit in the engine bay or if you'll have to do anything different with the starter though.

Need to do extensive mods to the cradle and engine compartment to make it fit. But it can be done.. Considering the amount of work involved in the swap I would not recommend using the stock tranny. I would suggest gettting a complete drivetrain.[This message has been edited by chester (edited 09-23-2012).]

I like the loks of those cars and was interested in doing the same thing awhile ago. I'm a old V8 hot rodder and the trouble with cars like that is the V8 crowd dosen't care. A handfull of people would be real interested but people will only glance at it at a car show as V8 traditional hot rods are so popular. Maybe that is changing some as I just don't see any V8 cars on the street anymore except late model Mustangs and Cameros and I never considered a car you just buy and maybe a few bolt on's a hot rod. See intense -racing.com, seriesoneperformance.com, fullthrottle v6.com, v6z24.co, oldschoolcav.com. I havent looked at these sites for a long time. I would think there is some Buick v6 swap info here on Penlocks.

Well, don't I feel stupid. The topic says "N/A" and not "SC" 3800. I guess I got excited. Enjoy his build thread and final pics anyway.

My brother had a 93 Sunbird 3.1 5speed. Was a fun car! Spun 2nd gear off its shaft in the transmission. A known problem - or so he was told.
