Hey guys , I would love to know if anyone on here knows how to test a "Cold Start Valve" to see if it's functioning properly , specifically on a 86 Saab 900 Turbo... The car kept turning over when I cold started it the other day....when it was pretty cold outside. The car drives fine.
All grounds are in tact , battery at correct voltage and no corrosion at the terminals.
Thanks.

It was the NTC sensor ( Technically a coolant sensor ) , it's located on top of the intake manifold. It tells the computer how much fuel to deliver with the coolant's temperature. Bought a Bosch sensor for 17 Bucks online. It's like 90$ at Advanced and rockauto.
Thanks for your interest Stubby.
