So I was hooking up my front speakers in my Vette and got everything buttoned back up and noticed that my rear speakers were not working. Oh snap they are smoking. Burned up one of the channels in my amp and two 6x9 speakers. The amp is a POS so I will take this opportunity to replace it and the speakers. I already replaced the bass amp.
Finally can get rid of the blue LED come steal me amps. Cliff is right why do they have to use the brightest LEDs they can find.
I can still smell the speakers stink on me.

Nothing too big, got my eye on a midrange kicker amp and some Sony 6x9 that are on sale. Just going to get something that isn't junk but wont break the bank. My bass amp is a kicker amp and its a solid piece of equipment. The old amps are junk and I knew it when I got the car but they had ok sound. I think they may have gotten wet at some point and something is just wrong with that channel. The amp controls are very touchy and crackle when I adjust the settings, I think something got shorted.
We will see.

Ended up with a mid range Alpine 4 channel amp. It got good reviews and was $80 less than the Kicker amp.
