Ok, anyone have the fitting size for the lines, the part that attaches to the abs/master? I am going to have to replace the lines and I just want to see if I can get them off the shelf (and make up the length I need with stock parts). I can order a new line set, but that is $160, and replacement lines are cheap, but the selection of fitting/adapters is limited. I don't want to bend my own lines/flares, but if I have to, maybe I will... if they loan out the tool at Advance Auto.

The loaner flaring tools are crap, the only one I've used worth a damn is the Craftsman one. Although lately their stuff is all being made in China, the one I have is made in the USA... I TRIED using a Snap-On/Bluepoint flaring tool, and it broke before I even finished the first flare.
On the Fiero, the lines to and from the master cylinder are standard thread, double-flare fittings, and the ones after the prop valve are bubble flare metric fittings, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same on a similar-vintage GM car. I just replaced half the lines on a 99 Tahoe, and everything was 'Merican, and I had to cut off and reuse a bunch of the fittings at the ABS pump because they were all oddball sizes. Only cost about $30 in fittings, unions, and lines.

I was going to buy off the shelf lines, not make my own.

Most of the time I run into where the lines have different fittings on each end and play hell trying to find the right lines with fittings. Most of the time I cut the old fittings off, cut the new line, and reflare with the stock fittings. Corsica uses left front/right rear, right front/left rear split system. Gm uses the different fitting sizes to keep from connecting the lines up wrong. You can still use the fittings that came on the lines for your unions(never compression fittings) but the ends are going to have to be reflared. The fittings are going to be different outside diameters, with same line diameters. The different fitting sizes you find are going to be for different line diameters.
