Bought a 2013 Sonic 1.4 turbo hatch with a 6 speed manual last week. Fun little car. I swore I would never get a front wheel drive again, but it's a little rocket, and built in the USA!
Gets damn near 40mpg too!

My son has one with the 5 speed. The traction control gets him around great in the snow. He fills up about once a month. His sister borrowed it when she went to Nashville and was getting about 525 miles on a tank.

I might have considered one if they came out with a "performance" version ala Focus ST. I love quick little cars (and quick medium sized cars too). I tried to talk the wife into a sonic, but she had no inclinations to consider it.

I'm on my second one, and I love em. Good on head on collisions too. I had an inferno orange 2012 LTZ that got totaled and got a crystal red metallic 2013 LTZ after all the insurance bs was taken care of. Mylink sounds pretty damn good ur I want to replace it with a real carputer since this WinCE dash device doesn't have gps. My brother has a black 2012 LT.

I was looking at one of these before getting my Veloster... surpisingley quick and agile but i dident like how tight they were.

They build them right down the road from here. Starting to see alot of them around, also hear the are shipping most of the production overseas these days. Produced at one of the GM plants that the UAW allowed a $16/hr. wage at. Hey, those guys have jobs and hopefully thankfull enough to build a fine car! I'm sure they are.

I heard more auto jobs are coming to your state. Maybe things will turn around there?

I was thinking about getting one but in looking into it the cost of premium fuel for only 200HP dident seem worth it to me.. the one I have now gets 50MPH highway comes with tons of options for even a base model car and is surprisingly quick for what it is.
