I have a 1998 Town & country van and the interior lights don`t come on when I open the drivers door but work if any other door is opened. They will come on if I push the unlock button on the remote. Where is the door switch located for the drivers door. Is it in the door or the door post . Thanks Lynn

It should be that little black plunger knob sticking out between the two hinges (at least that's what it is on every vehicle that I'm aware of). It sounds like you have a bad switch.

If it does not have the plunger, then it is part of the door latch. can't recall what year chrysler started doing that, but most newer vehicles have the switch integrated into the latches now.
