I get an intermittant no start. I should say, no fire..... The starter always works. There is no spark on startup, you can smell fuel on the no start. It cures itself if you let it sit for 10 minutes. It never cuts out once running, you can drive it cross country. Most times if you shut it off, it restarts fine. It's that no start when it feels like it....... and it won't matter whether hot or cold. During that no fire, you could turn that key for minutes and the starter turns, just no spark. It has to sit for 10 minutes or so and it will fire up with the first twist of the key. Maybe the PCM?

Just like a Fiero, I'll vote on the ignition module, distributor pick-up coil, and then ignition coil in that order...
Edit...if it has a distributor. If it doesn't, I'll vote on crank sensor or cam sensor. Have you checked for codes?[This message has been edited by carnut122 (edited 01-07-2013).]

It was a cap and rotor for me. And this was with a fairly new set already. Drove me crazy.

The part that is really ticking me off is that I never seem to be in a place or time that I can trace the no start. It happens while doing errands around town or when stopped for gas or something. It's getting to the point that I need to put all my tools in the van because I sure can't get it to act up at home.

Could it be a crank or cam sensor going bad?

These vans are known for faulty ignition switches.
