Do these guys honestly think they are going to get 20k for this Trans Am???? (Page 1/3)

LOL!!!!

I've seen seen all but perfect '75 Trans Am's on Mecum auctions go for half this!! They are totally delusional.

I like the way that door damage is considered a "small ding"

Small ding... LOL

That poor misunderstood owner. Did he not know that that car is easily worth twice that. And that door "ding" is called patena folks.

It's a stretch, but being a 455 4-speed ups the value substantially.
I think it's overpriced for a '75, but the mid 70's birds are starting to escalate in price because the early and late 70's models have already shot up dramatically. '74-'76 is the last of the "bargain years."

If it were a '73, it would probably be sold already for the $20,000 asking price.

So I take it you're not a buyer then, huh?

Just for your enlightenments sake, the average retail on these cars from NADA classics guides put these around 33,500. A thousand dollars fixes the door and then you have yourself a solid investment. Thanks for giving me a heads up. I may just have to follow up on this.

They just don't get it here, I see this crap all the time. Going out of ones way to crap on a car listed somewhere else. Must make them feel better or something.

edit to add

I'd only need $10,000 to sell my Camaro, but sure I would be a complete F'n idiot for asking soo much on here!

I like your Camaro a lot better than that T/A. No contest.

I am not sure if you saw the add Lambo, but the car appeared much rougher than the seller was letting on to. But, that is only my take from the pics.

Your Camaro looks so very much better.
