A neighbor has a 1976 Cadillac Eldo Conv 500 cu in V8, auto, the works in medium blue.
The question is what are the things called that are between the bumper (metal part) and the car body?
Its missing them front and rear... Neighbor wants me to replace them, but I cant search yet as I dont (Do'h) know what to call em. lol
HISTORY: the Eldo was purchased by PepsiCo in 1976 and used until 1997 when it was in a contest and given away to the lady who now owns it. It has the "parade package" bascially a hard top cover and a beefed up rear suspension to keep the car looking good in parades. The hard top cover allows people to sit on the top without damaging it.
Car has 77.000 miles, medium metallic blue. [This message has been edited by htexans1 (edited 02-21-2013).]

Shame its not a DeVille. I have those rear panels in my storeroom. I always save parts like that. I dont think they interchange with Eldo.

They seem to be missing on just about every car that had them. I think they were biodegradable.

along with the quarter extentions between the fender and bumper/tail light. I see lots of those old caddys driving around with the tail lights just hanging out in mid air.

Beware the Fiberglass replacements, they Very seldom fit properly, if at all.
