Well, I had to change out the struts/springs on the front of the 2001 Aztek. Ordered everything from Amazon
The top of the struts are buried under the windshield, so you have to remove the wiper mech., fuse box and cruise control. This is easier than it sounds.
From there, just a standard strut removal, and replacement. All went well. Springs were AC/Delco, Strut components were Monroe.
Oh, changed out the outer tie-rods with AC Delco units.
The original springs broke at the top after 165K.
Off to alignment shop. BTW, saved $500 (vs having shop do this repair).
