Okay, PFF group of mechanics; I value your opinions on the following issues with my wife van. Anytime it rains for extended time; We can count on a puddle on both the driver & passagener front floorboards. I have searched the web & found plenty of suggestions as to where search for such leakage; but still have not found the source. The windsheild has been replaced & even taken back & leak tested both by drenching with the hose & also liquid soap around the seal & blowing air from inside; so its not the windshield seal. Both door seals are good. Where in the world is this water getting into my cabin?

Sunroof?
I recently had to remove the cowl/wipers,etc from my Aztek (to change struts). I didn't see any drain flaps or the like for the water that does flow down that way. But there must be something....
"Another possibility is a gasket problem at the cabin air filter... If your vehicle is like my 2001 Impala the cabin air filter is under the cowling under the passenger side windshield... There is a gasket in there that deflects rain water away from going thru the cabin air filter... If the gasket is gone, or slipped off, the rain water runs down thru the cabin air filter, thru the blower motor and onto the front passenger side floor..."
BTW, the cabin filter is located behind the glove box, but you get to it from the glove box, from what I remember.[This message has been edited by jaskispyder (edited 04-18-2013).]
