HI all 
I am curious about the auto trans, anyone know how many gears it had, 4 or was there more?

Only a 4 speed Auto or a 5 speed manual trans. Ironically, I just saw a black one about an hour ago.

Thanx for the reply!! I was hoping it was more than 4, oh well. Do you know if any NSX's that hadn't been imported to the USA has a bigger auto trans?

Nope. I don't know why they never used a 5 speed, I guess they though the 4 speed auto was sufficient. In 1997, they came out with a 6 speed manual though. The new NSX is going to have a 7 speed dual clutch automatic though.

You planning on buying an NSX? 4 speed, 5 speed, 20 speed, slush box or stick, I'd take one in a NY minute. One of the VERY few cars I'd buy if I won the lottery.
