When I'm done getting the Fiero up and running as an Ecotec-powered daily, I've found the next project I'd like to jump into:
https://www.factoryfive.com/kits/project-818/
1800 pounds. Boxer four. (One of my top-three favorite sounds next to a LS7 and a Ferrari V12.) $9800 for the kit. (Not including donor.) Paintless body panels. (Paint's in the panels already when shipped.)
Anybody else have any input/opinions/comments/suggestions?
Only couple of unknowns: Cost of a donor. How the hell to go about registering it in the state of North Carolina for legal road use. And what of emissions/insurance?

Add heat, air and a wetherproof top and that's a hell of a deal. I'd buy one and build it for a daily driver.

i would want a 33 roadster with the roof and heat and ac and all the gizmos but for the price i think i would be best off buying a new Cadillac. if your looking for a stripped out car it would be badas* but if you want a daily driver it wouldn't be that cost effective to buy them what type of insurance would you have? you would have to go with a specialty insurance because its a race car i bet.
