          | Ok I've search HHR forums nothing the question just dies off.
I've hit the switches and tried the dimmer switch nothing... even fused with the tabs on all 4 door jams. Granted lights turn off after 20 min, but not good on battery so I yanked the fuse. I'm lost WTH is going on here/?

          | Can you explain exactly what is happening? When do the lights stay on? (I have an HHR, I can check how mine works). | |

          | It's normal for the lights to say on for a short time (a few minutes) but the MAP lights are probably being run off of the RAP relay which is why they're off after 20 minutes. I'd suspect a door isn't registering as being closed. You'd have to look at a scan tool to see if it can detect all the doors are closed. | |

          | On my old HHR SS (2007), those lights were not map lights but rather how GM elected to illuminate the a/c controls under them on the dash. If you look you will see there are no other ambient light sources there... | |

          | Probably needs the BCM reflashed. Sounds like a logic function for the battery rundown protection circuit was erased/corrupted and isn't set any longer. The lights should shut off after 20 seconds.
Also the door jam switches can cause this issue if one fails.
