Hi does anyone know how all the dash gauges work on a 2004 Ford Focus(speedo, volt, gas, etc). It seems like it is all powered or a single ground, sometimes all the gauges good to dead and then come back on and sometimes it works for weeks and might go for a couple of days?

Do you need wiring diagrams?

If they all go at the same time, I'd guess a bad ground or a bad hot connection (starting at the hot side of the fuse all of the way until it branches off). It's more likely the ground. Is there anything else losing power?

They all jump up and down the same time. I was doing some research on the internet and a common problem that could cause that is the wiring harness going into the alternator. If you got a wiring diagram I will gladly take it.
Thanks.

I'd start with that one. I've had great luck troubleshooting through Google.
