I have an idea of what I would pay for it but what do you think its worth?

I would bet the reserve is set prettty close to $20k maybe more. Thats an awesome Delorean.

DeLoreans used to have a 'Rule of 20k', it's probably closer to 25k now. Basically, if you spend $10,000 on the car, it'll cost $10k to make it a nice one. Similarly, an $18,000 car would need $2,000.

I'm actually familiar with this car, it should sell for $25-30,000, but it needs work to get it running reliably. It works and it's fast, but it's not done, more like a 90% done project car.

You can see video of this car here:

At least it has some engine mods. I read that these are pretty slow stock.

Same as a V6 Fiero weight and power wise.

The car is up to $29K now and still has not met the reserve. The p[ricing here may be unreasonable.

I can't imagine the reserve on that if it hasn't been met yet. Maybe $40k.

i dont know how rare deloreans are .if you are talking a collector car , i would think a pristine stocker would be worth more than this car .it was not a real expensive car to begin with if i remember right .

I own a DeLorean , not turbo though. Awesome cars and a lot of support on dmctoday.com and dmctalk.org
I live on Long Island and I am in the LIDMCNY club. Awesome guys ! If you do buy one you should join a local Delorean club. Also Bill Robertson in North Carolina is a good Delorean guru to ask questions to about these cars.
Oh and as for being slow, yes it's a V6, mine is carberated with a peugot manifold and headers and it is FAST!
