My wife wants a new car as her jeep is at 140k. We've been looking around and she really likes the Hyundai Veracruz. Anyone have experience with these? things to watch out for, avoid, good points, bad points, tell me everything

I'd be more inclined to think that old Jeep would outlast that new Veracruz...just saying.

It's a liberty, not a "true" jeep. And while I tend to keep cars until they're falling apart, she wants a change and I can't really blame her since I got a new car for work a year ago (I travel a lot).

I used to work at a Hyundai dealership just 2 years ago... Please don't buy one or a Kia... You would not believe the amount of warrenty or replacement transmissions I helped to swap in! It was crazy, also I swear I never saw a car roll in that was older than 2002.. Probably because they're all dead... Also I seem to remeber a lot of problems with the direct injection systems.
