hi guys, i am putting in 2 toggle switches. which wire is better to control with the switch-pos.or neg.? if it matters, it is a simple single throw on/off switch. one would control a dash cam and the other a medium size rear yellow strobe bar.

Usually, the hot(positive) wire is switched. I suspect it's due to the fact that most items are naturally grounded through their mountings and thus would be on all of the time. For some reason, the horn is switched negatively.

ok, none of these would be grounded through mounting. thanks
