Sorry for the poor pics, saw these on the freeway on this trailer. Miniature vans. They arent proper VW and seem to be a smaller scale, almost kid sized. They didnt have VW emblems. Wonder if these were produced for road use, or maybe just custom made for parades? Maybe the pics are too poor.

1970 Subaru 360 Sambar Van Engine Specification 2-stroke, inline 2-cylinder, rear engine, air cooled isn't just microbus it's very... very microbus Japanese microbus 10 feet long, about 5 feet wide and just shy of 5 feet tall.

We've had a few Chinese/Japanese/Korean import "farm/delivery" trucks sold around here. Three or 4 wheels but t-i-n-y with micro sized motors (generally 2 or 3 cyl, well under a liter). They're not legal on some roads as they don't get much faster than about 30mph but there have been a few staff that have driven them to work. Neat little "trucks" (and I use that term very loosely). I think they go for under $3k.

I think I saw one of those once; about 20 clowns climbed out of it. When I see something like that, I just think about the outcome of a head-on collision with anything bigger than a dog.
