If you've ever had your headlights become hazey from the suns rays, you might consider a UV clear coat. I came across this Informative article here:

I tried this with on my sunfire today. The headlights look like new & are crystal clear once again!

You might want to be careful with what you mix with your headlights as some things like polishing compound (don't ask- but they sure looked great for awhile) may end up having detrimental consequences in the future.

Ive never had a problem buffing out bad ones with a buffer and rubbing compound. REALLY bad one, I have clearcoated with regular urathane clear. I buffed my minivans out. They were so bad you couldnt see the bulb. They look nearly new just from sanding and compounding. If it only lasts a year, thats fine...only takes a few minutes to do them again...(yes..less than 5 minutes)
