Finally Drove a Tesla Model S (Page 1/1)

After working on the program for over a year, I FINALLY got to drive one. Up until now I had only been in the passenger seat. Driving of course is even better. This one is a P85 which is one step below the top-of-the-line P85+. Awesome is the only word that describes it.

That certainly isn't a 57 Chevy.

Looks extremely aerodynamic. Except for the wheels. I'm surprised they're not super flat like late model hondas.

Welcome to the future.

They still don't have the range to be a viable alternative to petrol engines. The Tesla has more range than others but the range decreases a lot if the car is driven hard or driven at speeds of 75 mph on the Interstate with the A/C running. They are a good alternative for city driving though but are still pretty pricey.

For the price, the bare minimum I would expect is "awesome."
