This is my old pool cleaning truck, retired at 230k.
It's been a good truck, now it's just the weekend project truck. It's got a 5.2 that still runs like new and as you can see isn't very dirty and a 5spd that's starting to have failing synchros. I've been looking for a used transmission but they are hard to find used. After that it may get a paintjob and I've been talking to my engine guy about stroking a 360 to a 408.
It's been a great truck, I've had to replace the water pump, clutch master, put a cherry bomb on it, the 14x3 air filter and traded the 16s it came with for 17s.[This message has been edited by jmbishop (edited 08-15-2014).]

Good run, and good looking truck.
My record is 265,000 on a 99 Silverado Z71. Had to take it off the road due to severe rust.

Yeah, no rust to worry about here, it's always shocking when I go north and don't see a single 2nd gen on the road without rust or rust repair. I'd like to move further north but I'm spoiled by these texas cars.
