Saw this today:



After making the left turn, I passed him and it looked like he had black wheels. That was the only thing I didn't like. The front looked almost as sexy as the back.

It's the John Cooper Works model Mini Cooper. They start out at $32,000 for the coupe and get up to near $40,000 for the roadster well equipped.

I have a local Mini dealer that just opened up (Arkansas hasn't had a Mini dealer before, and you used to have to go to Memphis or Texas for the nearest ones) and they had a few of these there. You can get them customized pretty much however you want from Mini as long as you order it and willing to fork over the $$$

That is actually a MINI Coupe. no backseats or storage in the rear. strictly 2 seater. faster than the standard MINI Cooper as it is much lighter. And they sound much better. I would have gotten one, but the wife opted for the Cooper, needed the extra space for toting stuff. We did splurge for the JCW, much much more fun, only front wheel drive car I have spun, no understeer. Should have come like that stock.
