I am having trouble getting the spark plug wire boots off the rear bank of plugs on my 2004 Chevy Venture, does anyone know of any techniques to use?

Do a Google search for spark plug wire pullers or pliers. there are like a dozen different kinds and as I am not familiar with the van and you are you will have a better idea what one might work. One thing I will say is once you get ahold of the wires boot twist back and forth before trying to pull it off.

Seems to me that my Transport wires came out in pieces and then I decided it was time for new wires. About 10,000 miles later the cheap AZ wires were shorting so badly that I thought the timing chain had skipped a tooth. I learned the value of good spark plug wires at that time. I still miss driving the Transport; it was a great highway cruiser.

I had a Transport too. I liked the nose and it got good mileage. I loved that all the seats only weighed like 25 pnds each and you could easily pop them out. I did a custom paint job and put custom wheels on it, used it a lot to take to car shows. Minivans dont have to be soccer moms trans.

It was a great family vacation vehicle and I miss being able to haul all kinds of stuff and not worrying about trashing the interior. I have to agree that the seats made it very configurable for the load/passengers. I traded it in with 233,000 miles on it and it was still running like new(didn't even have to add oil between oil changes).
