The white one in the above picture is likely a '91 model (the most common year of the 2nd Gen MR2). I test drove a '91 MR2 turbo in 1990 (a few months after buying my first '88 Fiero GT) and was blown away by how fast it was. I paid $9000 for my GT and the new MR2 was right at $20,000.....there was no way I could afford the car payment on that so I kept the Fiero. As much as I still love the MR2, I have no regrets.....I love Fieros more. I have a friend who bought a handful of 3rd Gen MR2's (MR2 Spyder) and while not as fast or as good looking as the previous versions, they feel like a street legal go-cart. They are a ball to drive.
