07 Silverado AirBag light (Page 1/1) FieroTony SEP 25, 09:45 AM 07 Silverado ZL1 4X4 5.3 Last weekend we were going to visit my daughter. Going down the road I heard a very loud bang. If I had to describe it, it sounded as if a walnut in its pod was thrown at the truck. A few more miles when we got to my daughters, I looked the truck over and couldn't find anything. When we left the "Service Air Bag" message was on along with the air bag light. Was the noise and air bag a coincidence?? This I'm asking. I couldn't find anything on it. Hoping it's just a sensor or module under the seat. Anyone have any other ideas?? Thanx, bonaduce SEP 25, 03:08 PM I would lean towards the sensor on the radiator support. Do you know that if the sensor is the problem, will a new one turn the [air bag] lights off on the DIC, or does it need to be cleared?
