car has the infamous overheated possibly warped heads due to leaking intake gaskets never replaced. how diffacult is it to drop the engine to make necessary repairs?

3.1 mfpi, I took everything off down to the heads, and the dog bone out.

I believe you could do that repair with the engine in the car?

Same here. As long as it wasn't the block that warped (which I've never had happen personally) I have changed warped heads or replaced head gaskets with the engine still in the car. I assume the block could warp as well although it's probably pretty rare unless the block is aluminum but I seem to recall some old Honda street racer friends talking about warped blocks since theirs were sleeved aluminum blocks.
