03 Impala LS ?'s (Page 1/1) johnt671 OCT 15, 04:26 PM A friend just showed me an 03 Impala LS in very nice condition he has for sale. It has 63,000 miles on it, the engine and compartment, interior and underneath look like new. Like new aluminum wheels, red with a gray interior and a rear spoiler, 3800 motor. can anyone give me any info on this type of car, such as problem areas, comfort and ride ect.I don't care about price because some people will say it's a $500 car. Only real problem I ever had was the intake gasket failure, which is a known problem with the 3800 of the era. Cost me under $100 and a Saturday morning to fix. Oh, and towards the end the blinkers were intermittent but I never got around to troubleshooting it before the ex wife took it in the divorce. I've read that the hazard switch fails and causes it. Overall it was a great car and I would buy another one if it popped up cheap when I was looking.
