I have an issue with an 06 Torrent. The blower quit working. Things I have checked and replaced
Resister pack is new HVAC controls have been replaced, found a bad wire but it wasn't the issue Motor is good, pulled it and it comes on fine when I put power to it. I have enough power to the motor to light up a trouble light on the plug only on low and medium, on high I have no power. It seems like either a ground or fault on the power. The light could just be feed back from the other part of the circuit. I am fed up for today and thought I would ask here and see if anyone had any ideas.

The motor power (speed) should be a circuit board..
I know it's seems silly but pull the fuse and look at it..

I did pull the fuses and made sure that they were good I have power on the red and white wire but it drops as soon as I put a load on it I'm going to bypass the connector coming from under the hood because it looks a little sketchy It's not melted But I can see where it's been getting hot They definitely cut corners on these vehicles

I spliced the power wire coming in from under the hood at the main connection and I now have a working blower motor

Silverados were bad about burning up resistor packs AND the plug where the pack plugs in.
