My 17 YO niece is looking at a 2002 Accord. 2.3 4 cyl, automatic. 212K. Owner is an 80 YO man.
Car is freaking perfect except for a delayed 1-2 shift. I'm tempted to call it a "flare" but it really isn't. Just takes a bit long. Sounds like 2nd is engaging, but 1st is holding for a second.
Fluid doesn't smell burned.
Is this something that is going to get worse? Or is it going to stay that way forever?
Assuming the tranny doesn't need rebuilt, is it an easy fix?
