Hey guys looking for a forum to document and get help with the rebuilding of my '95 Grand Am SE coupe. The 60degreev6 forum and Grand Am forums seem to be deader than dead. Here's what I'm working with:

Just out of curiosity, is it a 3100 or 3400? In any case, those engines seem to really wake up with a cam swap, some head porting, and a tune.

It's a 3100. Unfortunately I have to deal with replacing a good deal of the firewall thanks to tin worm. This car is going to be the beater so I can do more radical things to my S-10. I'd have more motivation if it was a manual, but the goal is just to get it back together and not scrap it.

Looks like some rusty bits got chopped out?
All things considered, the S10 platform should be more suited for "activities". So using that for the project vehicle is probably the better choice.[This message has been edited by Blacktree (edited 05-04-2020).]

Yea, thought it was odd that the firewall rusted, but it was pretty bad. Cutting sections out of a unibody at the junkyard was... interesting, lol.
Wish I would have done a little more work and went all the way to the driver's side though. There's still a little bit left that that piece won't cover.
This is the S10, at 265k miles this thing could use being taken off the road for a while and given some love.
