I am currently in the process of restoring a 1979 Chevy K30, and am planning on putting this grille guard on it to give a look reminiscent of a CUCV. only deal is I can only see myself welding or bolting this grille guard onto the frame horns with the way it's shaped. Is there some sort of separate receiver this hooks into? Also this grille guard turned up with a sticker that identified it as a Doug Thorley ShowBar. I've only ever seen Doug Thorley make headers, though. Was this a one-off product? if anyone has any history on this, I'd love to hear it.
