1979 Chevy Camaro (Page 1/2)

Hi all, Up for sale is my 1979 Chevy Camaro!

305 Small Block
59,xxx miles on the ODO
Tan Interior
American Racing Wheels
Hooker Headers
Dual Flowmaster Mufflers
Brand New Battery
Single DIN Aftermarket Radio
Suspension in Good Condition
New: Plugs, Cap, Rotor, Oil Change, and Filter

This is a low miles 1979 Chevy Camaro with a stock 305 small block. The car has an upgraded exhaust system which includes hooker competition headers, dual flowmaster performance mufflers and chrome forks. This car sounds MEAN!! The car has American Racing wheels wrapped in very good treaded tires. The brakes are in very good condition and the car stops very well! In addition, the car has a Brand New battery and has also had a tune up recently which consisted of new plugs, cap, rotor, air filter, and oil change. Car runs strong and is reliable but just needs cosmetic attention and could become a real looker!

Would like $3000 for the car or trade for a rat rod or 30 Model A!! Will entertain other trades.

For more info, pictures, or questions, feel free to PM me!

Thanks alot!
Tony

photo's of lower door seams, trunk floor and frame rails,
where is the a/c part, you have or long gone?
original engine or unknown replacement?

It might be the original 305.
A lot of Camaro's (or atleast mine all did) came with 305 Small blocks, before I swapped them out for 350's.

Nope, A/C compressor would have been here.

Hey E.Furgal!

These are the pics you requested! NOTE that I only took a picture of the Passenger side door seam because I have a new drivers door that has to be prepped and installed on the car and that one is in very good condition. The car also comes with replacement fenders for both sides of the car which contain no rot! Oh yes and the car did origanlly come with the A/C! Most of the A/C stuff is there minus the Compressor that I know of.

Passenger Frame Rail

Drivers Frame Rail

Trunk

Passenger Side Door Seam

A/C Components

Misc Pictures:

I have a video on the way too so you can hear how mean this sounds!

Thanks alot,
Tony

P.S. My entire fiero parts inventory is still available too! Id love to make a deal for you to haul both things away!

These are actually pictures of the front sub frame. The frame rail pictures I'm sure he was wanting are the rear rails. They are bad for rusting out, especially where it makes the turn to go up over the rear diff. Trunk extensions behind the rear quarters are places to go bad too. Also had to fix two (Camaro and a Firebird) where the rear window meets the body near the doors. Crap collects under the moulding and rots the channel in the corners of the rear window which in turn allows water to get inside the rear quarter behind the door, and also gets to rear floorboard area.

you nailed it

Wouldn't the original engine be blue instead of black? A later model 305 would be an improvement over the original 130 horsepower beast. Something else to consider is the potential for the rear axle to have an incredible 2.41 gear ratio. Great for highway cruising, not good for performance.
