Its time for me to sell my 1st bike. its an 82 maxim 750 with just over 20,100 miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner of this bike, and have had it since it hit 2,349mi.
Pros: Starter recently rebuilt Good tread on rear tire Psychotic frequent oil changes every 2K miles - always changed with mobil 1 (previous owner ran royal purpel) New sets of spark plugs every year New fork seals New Battery Always ran 93oct or higher in it Seat is clean, as well as frame Everything works including the auxilary light New air filter
Cons: Right foot peg bent from an accident with previous owner Coils need replaced - had to put RTV on the wires to keep from getting zapped Never has had the valves reshimmed or changed or whatever these bikes need Valve cover is starting to seep (although if you're changing the shims this'll get changed as well) Paint is fadeing on tank - could use a repaint No backrest Peckock doesnt always like to adjust right - will prolly need replaced. Previous owner tried repainting the exhaust manifold, doesnt look half bad
I've got the bike for sale locally for 1200, so 'll put it on the board for 1000. For what I've got into it and the fact its a running/riding bike I think thats fair? pics to follow, just shoot me a call/text any time if interested. five-seven-four-849-one-seven-3-9 Thanks! -Ben

That's a very nice bike and looks exactly like one I owned many years ago and would love to have another but the distance is a bit too much for me plus getting it across the border but good luck with the sale. Dan

I been looking for an XJ100 for awhile. Your description had me until I read 750. The 11s were only 82
