I was at at a friend's shop here in the Kansas City area today and he is looking to sell a 2 owner 1987 Buick Grand National 3.8 Turbo. I looked over the car and it is in remarkably good shape for its age. 48,531 two owner miles. Never been wrecked, straight body, interior is dirty but in very good shape. Has a somewhat rare factory sunroof and digital dash as well. Engine bay could use a serious cleaning. I have taken some pictures and will post them later today. PM me if you would like further info and I will put you in touch with the owner.
From what I could see the car needs some work on the digital instrument cluster and the AC needs a rebuild from sitting.

I'd like more info. Did the previous owner swap in the digital dash? Is it stock? Asking price? I'm interested in seeing the pics. GN interior pieces are hard to find, so depending on how bad the interior is, it could need some costly work.

Nice car! One of my bucket list cars I'd like own someday. I'd have to sell my LS Fiero to get that GN.

The interior does look very nice for the age. I was unaware the digital dash was available on the GN. I had thought they were only available on the T-Type. It had many luxury options that you couldn't get on a GN, such as leather seats, etc. If it's original, it's the first I've ever seen.
It's nice to see one that hasn't been modded to hell and gone. It reminds me of my '87 GN I had back in the 80's.

It is a good investment for sure and the price isn't too bad. You could probably get it around 8k-8500 if a private seller had it. I own two, an '85 hot air car and a '87. I have had both of them for over 15 years and they have doubled in value. Once they hit the 20 year mark, the prices went crazy almost overnight with all the g body cars but especially the GNs. And yes, the digital dash did come stock in those, the other rare option would be the moon roof.
