Due to some recent and unexpected financial issues and some elbow/shoulder injuries, I need to sell my beloved 2012 Vision. I absolutely LOVE this bike but priorities have to change sometimes. Bronze Mist/Sandstone Metallic. 13,xxx miles (which will increase as I'm able to ride). Stock drivetrain (106 cu in V Twin/6 speed), lots of tasteful aftermarket parts. Currently asking $15,000 as that's the bank payoff.
I'm going to call this a reverse auction in slow motion. I'm not interested in making any money on this so I'll take whatever I currently owe. If the bike doesn't sell by the time I make my next payment, I'll drop the price by whatever my payments are (minus interest, of course). HOWEVER, in the mean time, the miles will go up. I ride whenever money for gas and lack of arm pain allows.
My bike has never been abused and has had all maintenance (oil changes) at the recommended intervals and always with Victory brand oil. I bought it brand new (1 mile on the odometer) on 17 Sept 2012 so I know the entire history. It's never been down (not even on the tip overs). It needs NOTHING. The ONLY thing it needs is a new owner.
Last year, the original rear part of the front fender cracked so I bought a black XC (Victory Cross Country) front fender. I put that on for a couple months until the new OE fender came in. That was installed at the dealer but I've had it off a couple times to check for cracks (there aren't any). The XC fender goes with the bike.
The front tire (E3) is original with a few thousand miles left. The rear tire was replaced about 6k miles ago with a new E3 MT (dual compound). So far, it's been stellar in both wear and performance. The bike is dirty in the pics but will be washed before the new owner takes possession. Always used genuine Victory oil. I have an oil change kit (4 1/2 qts oil, funnel, misc gaskets/o-rings). If the bike hits 15k miles before it's sold, I'll change the oil. If not, the oil change kit goes with the bike. I took the trunk off shortly after I bought the bike. It's in great condition and currently gathering dust in my living room. Obviously, it goes with the bike as well as the trunk delete (filler panel) that's currently on it. The trunk is stock except for a Victory brand lighted trunk emblem ("VICTORY" lights up).
Here's a list of aftermarket parts (in no particular order):
Utopia backrest ($220) genuine sheepskin driver seat cover ($100) Witchdoctors clutch cam cover (black) HMD 2"up/2"back handlebars w/HMD ball milled "Groove" bar ends (black) ($450) Chrome cable stays for handlebars ($40) Kaddy Kooler custom handlebar mounted cup holder (black) ($50) Garmin nuvi 760 GPS mounted on dash w/quick release mount ($150) OE cheese wedges painted black Extra set of gutted mufflers (new owner will need to weld the ends back on) ($75) iPod cable/cable extension (mounted in right saddlebag) ($150) Witchdoctors lay down license plate bracket ($40) Witchdoctors LED license plate surround (black) ($40) K&P billet reusable oil filter (black) ($120) Victory brand heel shifter ($100) Witchdoctors brake pedal ($70) Mastiff billet dipstick ($40) Victory brand lowers (OE lower panels painted black...small crack in mounting hole) ($250) Cycle Ops metal lower panels (black) ($150) Victory brand fitted saddlebag luggage ($150)
I think that's about it. Again, there's NOTHING wrong with the bike. I just need to get out from under my payment. If I ever buy another bike, it'll be another Vision. It kills me to sell it but life happens. Feel free to stop by and take a look at the bike. No test rides as my insurance won't allow anyone but me. If you know what you're looking at, you won't need a test ride.
More pics available upon request. I don't want to clog things up with too many pics.
