I've got a mint condition Smith & Wesson M&P 40 M2.0 for sale. It's had about 200 rounds through it and comes exactly as it did when it was new. I'm the 2nd owner. I've had it a year but only carried/fired it for about a month before I got hooked on SIG. .40 caliber, obviously. Comes w/original box, 2 magazines, mag extenders, all back straps).
I'd take $550 + shipping, my FFL to your FFL. No street corner deals. Paypal F+F or +4%. Cashiers check works, too. Pics available upon request to your email addy.[This message has been edited by Monkeyman (edited 10-26-2020).]

I'd be all over this if it was in 9mm and compact. You could probably ask for more on GunBroker.com or Armslist. Good luck with the sale!

It is a compact and there's nothing wrong with .40 caliber but to each his/her own. In this day and age where anything that can lob a metal projectile downrange is uber expensive, I'd say a near mint .40 cal pistol for this price is well worth it, regardless of the caliber (except maybe .22/.25). I'll go on Gunbroker tomorrow and yes, it will go for more. Just put my full size SIG RX (9mm) (w/extras) on SIGtalk. If it doesn't sell in a few days, it'll go on GB, too.

I don't think there is anything wrong with .40SW, I've never shot it though. I'm just heavily invested in 9mm (hence why I bought my Stribog) and I don't want have to buy even more of a different caliber. It just doesn't do it for me but I'm sure someone on GB would love it.

It's odd. Five years ago, you couldn't give away a 9mm. .40cal was king. Five years before that, it was the .45ACP. Five years before that, it was the 9mm. IMHO (and that doesn't mean much), the .40 is the best round out there. It combines most of the stopping power of the .45 with most of the speed of the 9mm. It'll be back in vogue eventually. This pistol shoots well but as Mr. Bell said, it's good to be single caliber. I bought my 1st SIG (in 9mm as that's all the LGS had) because I wanted to try out a red dot optic and they happened to have a full size P320 RX (which comes from the factory with a SIG Romeo 1). I considered keeping the S&W but I'd have had to send out the slide to get milled and drilled (I don't like plates). I decided I liked SIGs so I bought another w/a factory milled slide (then I built yet another with......yeah, a factory milled slide). My eyes are getting older and trying to focus through iron sights is getting a bit much. Thus endeth my tale.
I had a Vortex Venom mounted on this S&W at one time. I used a plate that mounted in place of the rear iron sights. The Vortex Venom only has about 100 rounds on it. (That was enough to convince me to run optics.) I'd be willing to give the new S&W owner a heck of a deal on the optic and plate. I won't sell them separately unless someone buys the Smith 1st and doesn't want the optic.
Unless someone buys this before the weekend, I think I'll take it to the range and run the rest of the .40 ammo through it just cuz I like the way it shoots.

Due to the fact that it looks like Biden's going to win next week, the price is going up. Way up. Mark my words. Once Biden wins, you'll wish you'd jumped on this last week.
$550, shipped to CONUS. My FFL to yours. Paypal F+F or Paypal + 4% or USPS MO only. My FFL ships on Mondays.
