InBev ... Bud Light is really hitting the fan. (Page 1/10)

But Light faced a horrible week… 27.9% YoY decrease last week, which comes on the heels of ~30% decrease the week before. It just keeps getting worse and worse: https://finance.yahoo.com/n...eason-160336461.html

Most news organizations are not really covering it, except financial news institutions now. I can't say if it's intentional that MSM isn't covering it still, or if it's because people have moved on. Regardless, it's clear that Bud Light is not recovering from this, at least not under current conditions. I think the damage is permanent unless they do a 180, fire the CEO, and apologize ... which we know they will not do because of their financial obligations to Blackrock, et-all that support ESG requirements.

Chart on the left is Bud Light, the other groupings are other brands under inBev. From left to right, Bud Light, Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Busch Lite, Natural Light.

Also worth noting: https://www.theepochtimes.c...youtube_5375004.html

They are being forced to close two bottling companies. Why this matter is that it appears as though they are accepting this decline in sales as permanent. It’s not simply just that they’ve lost sales, but with many of the local distributors now going out of business, and two bottling companies just shut down (one of which went completely out of business) as a result of the boycott, Bud Light cannot simply flip the switch back on if demand somehow magically again increases. This means regaining lost market-share will be twice as hard… if not basically impossible. Every week of losses that goes by is another shock to the corporate executive leadership team. They keep trying to pacify both sides, and they are trying desperately to ignore it and hope it goes away. The MSM of course is complying and not talking about it in hopes that it will not go away either.

I'm sad for all the people who are losing their jobs right now... the 600+ in the bottling company, the 3,500+ thus far in the distribution network that seems to be falling apart, despite the payments InBev is shelling out to keep them afloat. This is not going away, and they know it... and they're horrified.

The five 'beers' listed in the chart all taste like swill.
The only palatable beer made by A/B is Michelob Amber Bock.

To my taste buds anyway......

I like Coors, and I was generally OK with buying Bud Lite if that's what was available at a restaurant. But obviously, I will intentionally avoid all of those products. It's not because I am homophobic... half my family is gay, and it's not that I am somehow against transgender people. I guarantee I've known more transgender people than anyone else here, for a much longer period of time. I supported a friend who went through the full surgery back in 2001. So this isn't new to me.

What this is though... is my staunch disagreement with corporations becoming political... being the new "political arm" of the Democrat party. I do not support the forced indoctrination. Democrats cannot get things passed legislatively because the majority does not support. They can't get things through executive order because they get blocked and overturned. They can't get things passed culturally because people don't support it... so now they're doing it through corporate mandates... and I'm more than happy to show that I do not support this type of product corruption.

Companies need not get involved in politics if they want my business. They need to focus on producing the best products they can. Honestly, I will never buy another Bud Light product for the rest of my life, and to the best of my ability, I'll avoid other InBev products as well. Budweiser is an easy one to remember. I may not remember the rest, including ones like Stella, etc. But I will never buy an InBev product (knowingly) ever again. At this point it doesn't matter what they do.

There is a local brewery here called Four Peaks, that brews a pretty good beer named Kiltlifter, which compares favorably to Newcastle. A few years ago it was bought out by InBev.

My go to for now
805 is a refreshing blonde ale made by Firestone Walker Brewing Company.
but when I'm serious about it I will just skip the beer.

I don't really drink beer all that much, but we have some great smaller breweries here in Florida. MIA Brewery in South Florida (Homestead) and Cigar City Brewing in Tampa... both are really good. But a good across the board favorite is Coors. They've always supported really cool stuff... everything from Smokey & The Bandit, to the new Karate Kid Series on TV which I forget what it's called... Cobra Kai?

Haha... like I said, I would occasionally order it if I was at a grill/restaurant, and Budweiser was the only beer they offered.

Oh the horror. Do we really have that many trans gender phobes in the USA ?

Sleep well tonight. The other bottling companies need 600+ people. No one in the distribution networks should lose their job. Beer drinkers quit Budweiser. They did not quit drinking beer.
