InBev ... Bud Light is really hitting the fan. (Page 10/10)

Perhaps the Bud Light "Dilly Dilly" television ads will have a life on the Internet, long after the ailing Bud Light brand itself succumbs altogether and is just a memory.

I have a memory for product advertising campaigns. After all, they're crafted to be remembered. So what just reminded me of this particular 60-second TV promo for Bud Light?

See what reminded product ad boffin 'rinse' of this particular Bud Light Dilly Dilly spot

Too funny! I think they were remiss not to make this connection in their report.

So... is that what helped convince people to drink that putrid swill? I fear we are lost as a society. It's into the pit of misery for us all.

I have a seriously left-leaning friend who loves this beer, and is really upset with the way things have gone with Anheuser-Busch.

I occasionally bring it up, because the fact that this was successful very much interests me, but I have to temper my comments to him because I don't want to piss the guy off. He is a life-long good friend... even if he drinks **** beer.

• Shock Top
• Breckenridge Brewery
• Blue Point Brewing Company
• 10 Barrel Brewing Company
• Redhook Brewery
Widmer Brothers Brewing
• Square Mile Cider Company
• HiBall Energy

Canadians will be happy to know those 8 brands will be going to a Canada-owned company.

Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen is actually a very good beer for one that is commonly available. The Canadians will put too much hops in it and ruin it.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!

This just in...

Busch heir wants to buy Bud Light brand. 'Sell it back to the Busch family.'

This would make me VERY happy... and this would be a win for everyone. I would love to see Budweiser once again, become an American company. I don't know how realistic this proposal might be... I doubt serious that InBev would even want to get rid of it, for the same reason why they don't seem to be that concerned about the fact that they screwed up so badly... but if it gets to the point where they are forced to sell, this would be huge for American business. I'd love to see us get this back, and I would immediately start buying Budweiser products just to support them. To be honest, I rarely drink, and when I do... it's a Gin & Tonic... or a rare Coors Banquet. But I'd buy some Budweiser to support them.
