I think this is an argument that would sway any jury if it were presented deftly, and with visual aids, by a subject matter expert who is versed in the mathematics of probability and statistics.



These betting odds from the Bovada online casino would be where the argument starts.

The only logical explanation for these odds is that there is a general expectation among the people who are placing these bets that Trump will be convicted, and since the people who are placing these bets cannot be excluded from the far-reaching circle of "everyone", as in 82-T/A's assertion that "everyone knows" that Trump will not be convicted, it's apparent that 82-T/A's assertion falls flat on its face.

I'm in total agreement here with fredtoast.
