Doh, you are right. I haven't ranted on this topic for a long time, so I am shifted in time by one war: the League of Nations (founded in 1920) couldn't stop WW2 and the United Nations (founded in 1945) couldn't stop Korea, Vietnam, etc. Any hope that it can stop WW3?
