LOL, I grew up in Hamilton. 1970s summertime the air was yellow and I read somewhere just living there was the same as smoking 3 packs a day. If you went up the escarpment you could literally see the line where the top of the smog was.

I wanted to give full expression to my thoughts when I posted my first remarks in this thread, and so, I created a sizable body of words—a "sea of words", as it were.
But a sea of words, like a sea itself, can be a wave and wind-whipped barrier that forbids safe navigation, or a calm and sunlit highway on a voyage of discovery.
I tried for the latter. But since I cannot be an impartial observer of myself, I say only that: That I tried.
The times in history when safe landfall on the shores of understanding was achieved without traversing some sea of words are few and far between.

This negates the entire argument, just by itself. Thank you very much! If a low sunspot cycle pauses warming, it's pretty much a given that a high sunspot cycle will resume warming, which is what I - and many others - have been saying for... decades?
