I'm not great on the critical thinking thing, but Jesus was Jewish, and living under Roman rule.
I couldn't tell you what color his skin was, but a decent guess from looking at other decedents of Abraham and descriptions of other people from during that time tells me he's probably not gonna be that brown. Just a guess, but probably more thought than just listening to some CNN talking point.

you do know most euro-jewish people ie the ones who came here to the USA are mixed with northern euro people so are far lighter/whiter as a result then the people who stayed in the mid eastern area and mixed far less with lighter skin people of the north

Even the Devil believes. No knock on you.
I thought you were of the Catholic leaning believers. They do not rate high on my list. No denomination is the top dog of my list. Each denomination thinks they have it right.
They all believe one needs to be saved to go to Heaven. Being saved means one recognizes his sins, confess them before man, be repentant of sinning (we all still sin) and strive not to sin. Asking God for forgiveness, and being baptized. We don't have to pay for our sins. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins.

...and I heard he drove a Vette.
Out of curiosity, I dug a bit into the blog you linked to. Interesting what I found on the JEWS page.
quote | Historically the Jews of the Biblical period in Palestine were a Semitic-speaking people composed of various Mediterranean strains which had blended together at the time of the formation of the Jewish nation. These Mediterranean strains must have included a small Mediterranean type comparable to the present Yemeni Arabs...

Seems to me these people could be described as "brown", don't you agree? [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 04-10-2023).]

So can anyone with a tan...what's your point?
If you've got something to say - say it. Or are you a coward?
Otherwise, pound sand...

What would I be afraid of?
You are one truly confused individual.

I've found over the years that when people tell me how I should be doing my religion, that those people are not usually good people. As a rule they have a really crappy life for one reason or another.
I'll keep you in my prayers Patrick.

Thank-you, Brad. That's very generous of you. Perhaps it's a simple misunderstanding on my part, but is there supposed to be some sort of connection between that kind sentiment...
...and this comment?
