I wouldnt even bother with the "existing laws" bit.

Dont forget, every single atrocity in human history was perfectly legal at the time and place, and every single one was for the "greater good/safety/children"

The entire concept of "rule of law" is so broken it is unrecoverable.

The entire "legal system" these days reminds me of a place I worked part-time in 04 to pick up extra Fiero cash. The owner had about 6 book-cases of written "policies". Right down to how to clean a toilet. He had spent years compiling them and no detail was missed. AND, the 1st 3 cases conflicted with the second 3, so no matter what you did you were in violation of one policy or another and he had "just cause" to fire you at any time. His way of playing CYA against labor laws.

Now expand that concept to over 2 million "policies" (laws). THATS what we are dealing with.

I don't even know what point you are trying to make. You don't even attempt to use any logic in your arguments.

Doctors used to believe that bloodletting was an effective treatment. Based on that logic I guess you never go to a doctor when you get seriously ill, right?

There have been no "atrocities".

Unchecked proliferation of "drama queens" and "victim mentality" has been a problem, but it does not rise to the level of "atrocity".

But there are plenty of limitations regarding mentally ill people and convicted felons. Also regarding the types of weapons that can be owned.

"Right to bear arms" is just like "freedom of speech". It is limited based on public interest and safety. That is why it is not legal to use speech to defraud, threaten, incite a riot, or commit perjury, slander, or libel.
