Climate change is when weather patterns that used to be statistically unlikely, become statistically not unlikely.

All of this is great Rinse... but more than 85% of all the wind and solar hardware, parts, and supplies all come from China. Literally, we're basically giving billions and billions to China, again. Nuclear power doesn't result in funding China's military and economic power.

I'm not going to greenlight a nuclear energy solution instead of wind/solar, solely because of "China."
The case for the "nuke" has to go beyond that.

Ok, President Rinse. How about if I told you that we could build a power plant, who's energy would come from the left-over nuclear waste of the past 50 years? It would require 1/4 the cost to maintain, and would last about 30 years without any major renovations, and provide substantially more power than wind and solar? ... and it wouldn't be funding China's military or economy?

No one here is saying "global warming" is man made. They are just saying that it is happening.
If we don't talk about who/what is to blame will you then admit that there is global warming? Aren't you one of those people who constantly say "We have had global warming before."?

This is absolutely true. The Chinese government was smart enough to subsidize investment in solar technology, while political interests in the United States forced us to keep cuddling the sack of big oil companies with with tax breaks.
Dumb people ruined our chance to be a worldwide leader in solar technology.
