What was the point of this thread? What was the scam?
Seems like he was just trying to ingratiate himself with people who had experience with autism.

When you're part of this forum for long enough, you learn to "weed out" the bullshitters and call B.S. There have been plenty of new people joining this forum recently who copy and paste questions from other peoples threads. Here's Cliffs response in another thread.

I get that he is a scammer, but what scam was he trying to pull with this specific thread? It was a strange question that had nothing to do with politics or religion. I don't understand what his motive was.

Honestly, he probably makes random posts to start a conversation. Once started he PM's the people in the thread to chat more about the subject and then "phishes" the person.[This message has been edited by IMSA GT (edited 09-04-2023).]

Cliff likely has the "inside scoop". He can see IPs, and likely the back and forth of PMs - and likely other stuff that we can't.
I think that the O/P's banning had little to do with the content of either thread, odd as that content was. There's a lot of this same sh!t going on in the Farcebook groups. People have pretty much caught on.

To add to your comment, and Raydar, you were part of this thread, the bannings you see in this thread just happened. Look at the dates and when the thread was resurrected by the new member.
