I'm sure you were equally as critical when liberals were mocking the death of Limbaugh, Reagan or pretty much any other high-profile conservative, right?

Do you think there's a record of anything like that on this forum? Anything that sticks in your mind?

It's an honest question.

I go back to 2010 on the forum. I can't think of anything like a "mirror image" of Wichita's mocking of the late Dianne Feinstein, that would have been posted to "diss" the passing of Rush Limbaugh or Ronald Reagan or some other high-profile Republican or conservative.

I'm not saying that it didn't happen. But nothing that I remember of that kind, and I do have an odd way of remembering posts on this forum, even from some years ago.

Even if there were such a precedent, it wouldn't erase the ugliness of Wichita's "contribution" in this thread.

What, you think I keep track of who's mocked who's death on this forum... if that's even occurred prior to Wichita's tasteless post? I sure as hell wouldn't mock anyone's demise, even a flimflamming shyster's such as Donald Trump. Wouldn't want the bad karma.

You were a member here in June of 2004 when Ronald Reagan died. I challenge you to go find a post from any PFF "liberal" who made light of his passing.

You missed the point.

Some people here claim conservatives are better people than liberals. Kind of shoots that theory in the foot to say "We all do it".

Rush Limbaugh died not all that long ago, in February of 2021.

Did anything as grotesque appear on this forum upon the passing of Rush Limbaugh, as what's been posted here by Wichita, in reference to the late Dianne Feinstein? Or is there any other parallel on this forum to what Wichita has done here?

It's an honest question. I can't think of anything. But that's what it would take to support the accusation of hypocrisy from otakadude, in which otakadude says "I'm sure [that you, Patrick] were equally as critical when liberals were mocking the death of Limbaugh, Reagan or pretty much any other high-profile conservative, right?"

Come up with an example if you can, but without such an example, all I see here is otakadude making an empty and misleading accusation, and Fats bleating like sheep about it in an equally meaningless way.

If I were Fani Willis, I would investigate the possibility of bringing RICO indictments against Fats and otakadude for conspiring to mislead the public under the color of their offices as Pennock's forum members.

Trump supporters are seeing their demagogue fading fast, so all that's left is lashing out.

She will prove the VERY basic and primal principle of "if you think things couldn't get worse, the leftists will prove you wrong". It is an ABSOLUTE certainty that the leftists will aggressively seek out with EXTREME prejudice an even worse person to replace it.

I never said that unkind words were said on this forum as we're generally a better tempered group of people than the internet at large.

However, I'm sure we all remember that when Limbaugh passed away, social media sites of all sorts and sizes were inundated with leftists both mocking his death and voicing desires to defile the grave site.

While conservatives pushed back upon such crass behavior coming from the left, I never once saw a liberal asking his fellow travelers to tone down the vile rhetoric.

So to now see leftists demanding civility and respect when one of their political leaders pass away strikes me as more than just a bit hypocritical.
