Ray, Focus Ray Focus. This has nothing to do with Jan 6th. Although it could prove to be even more hostile given the city and circumstances.
I do hope the Chicago PD is well prepared.

Remember that Dems call Jan 6 worse than 9/11 and Pearl Harbor combined.
When Dems have "mostly peaceful" protest, that any attempt to have order and to prevent violence and property destruction is racist colonizing whites under systemic racism that is causing the issue.

You have one side of the Democrat party that is so radical, that they want everyone to be gay and demand Jews die, and now even claim Osama Bin Laden was right.
And then you have the other side of the Democrat party that's pissed that the party keeps being so dysfunctional and keeps pandering to the radical left, yet they're UNABLE to vote anything other than Democrat because of years and years of indoctrination.
The DNC deserves every bit of what they get. I hope it's a **** show outside the DNC this Summer... |

There is not "one side of the Democrat party that is so radical, that they want everyone to be gay and demand Jews die, and now even claim Osama Bin Laden was right."
That mischaracterization of the "Democrat" or "Democratic" party" is—unfortunately—"Wichita-like" in its errancy.
There are unthinking college students and radical professors that are somewhat that way, although 82-T/A's description of them as wanting "everyone to be gay" and demanding, without any if's, and's or but's, that "Jews die" and that Osama bin Laden was "right" is much exaggerated on 82-T/A's part, exaggeration being 82-T/A' s fundamental weakness.
This is not college students and professors across the board, or even just Democratic-leaning college students and professors. These are the radical leftists that stand out the most in news coverage because of the conspicuousness of their constant street protests and rallies. These are the radical leftists that are overrepresented in the various social media settings that distort and misinform a "Wichita's" perspective on the world.
82-T/A's characterization of these unworthies as "Democrats" is a misleading exaggeration. (Can there be an exaggeration that is not misleading?)
This is like "82-T/A the Elder," a less than first rate American newspaper reporter who went on assignment to St. Petersburg and Moscow to report on the social and political turmoil in Russia in 1917.
"82-T/A the Elder" was disrespected by historians for not distinguishing between, on the one hand, Lenin's communist-minded Bolsheviks, who wanted a radical remaking of Russia, and, on the other hand, the more moderate supporters of the Alexander Kerensky or Provisional government, who were like many current Democrats in their thinking. These were liberals and progressives that tried to stand against the Russian communists. They were similar in their politics to the center left and center right thinkers who came together to create the Angela Merkel-led coalition that led Germany from 2005 to 2021. These Russians of 1917 were known in their time as the Trudoviks, but all such distinctions were lost on "82-T/A the Elder," who suffered from the same exaggerated-thinking genes in his DNA that he passed on to his descendants.

The exaggerated thinking of 82-T/A that's on display here offers Democrats no viable alternative.
It's not insignificant to remark in this context that the Continuing Resolution to keep the government funded, put together by the new House Republican leader Mike Johnson, passed with 209 votes from the Democrats. Only 2 of the Democrats voted against it, as compared to 93 Republicans who voted against it.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 11-18-2023).]

STYLE POINTS for Wichita, who posted this. Even though the Wichita message that accompanied it is a distortion of "Democrats."
It's a clever meme, although like all such memes, it will soon become tiresome from overuse. (This could reflect a certain solipsism, on my part, as I don't really "do" social media. Perhaps this CAPTCHA-format has already been well exploited for its meme-potentiality on social media. I don't really know.)
I'd been thinking of creating a CAPTCHA-formatted meme (or two) like that myself, but I never found or figured out an easy way to do it.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 11-18-2023).]

I have only one question for Rinse, does WIchita occupy the space in your head rent free or do you pay him to be there?
Ya know, you could react similarly to the way I do to RayB, ignore him and hope he goes away.
Edited: I apologize, I've allowed myself to drift off topic (again). Chicago should be very interesting this summer and maybe next year also.

Rinse... the Democrat party today has a LOT of problems. Just look at what's going on in the country. We've had 10 million more illegals in this country since the beginning of 2021. The economy is sliding, inflation is rampant to the point where things now cost more than 2x what they did just 2-3 years ago.
You're trying to say that the media focuses too much on the radical leftists... do they? What about the antifa riots that basically leveled entire city blocks and DAs that refused to prosecute them? Rinse... MORE THAN 30% of Generation Z in the United States supports the idea of Communism. They LITERALLY think there should be a single party, with a dictator, where the government does everything and they work simple jobs.
How can you even begin to sit there and downplay all of this? Rinse... your party is TOTALLY ****ed up... like, seriously, seriously ****ed up.

Whether or not they will admit it, everyone knows why the Dems are so smug. Remember Hillary in 2016?
Fetterman is the proof, he was a test, he is the proverbial “yellow dog”.
There is no point in my explaining it, it would only be countered with an irrefutable “Nuh-uh!”
“The fault, dear Brutus , is not in our stars,...”
