It was never on the news as far as I know.
You say you know where it happened. Where was it? When? What election?
In most state unregistered voters can not even register on election day.[This message has been edited by BingB (edited 08-29-2024).]

This assumes that the authenticating authority is actually doing their job. Reference who benefits, all candidates regardless of party affiliation benefit by having less suspicious/unauthentic votes and reduces recounts (except in very close elections). Any qualified citizen can get a Voter ID if they want one. Suppressed turn out is a result of those who really don't give a damn until it appears their candidate might not win. Voter IDs are easily obtained if one qualifies and desires to have one.
While the laws do vary somewhat from state to state, what it takes qualify and get a Voter ID is ridiculously simple if one wants one. |

When I voted in person I could always spot a first time voter. They would show their ID when they checked in to get their ballot.
Showing ID to vote is so intuitive that people who never voted before do it on instinct.

Pretty much any Blue State but, the ones I remember were in CA and Michigan. I didn't suggest they attempted to register on election day. I have to assume that you registered to vote where you live, tell me what was so difficult about the process.

Ask the courts who made the ruling. They know more about how and why it suppresses the vote than i do.
But I still don't have the info that EVERYONE knows about these busloads of unregistered voters. It is hard for me to take any of your other claims seriously when this seems to be just a big lie that you made up. If EVERYBODY knows about them it should be pretty easy to come up with a link to support your clkaim.

Someone needs to explain this to me. Official IDs aren't needed to vote according to some Democrats but, during the most recent DNC IDs were required and according to the reports I heard, there were at least eight check points where IDs were checked prior to actually being allowed onto the DNC floor.
Surely, there's a reason why one was necessary but, the other isn't by the DNC.

Voter ID laws don't solve any problem. There is no proof of widespread voter fraud involving people voting in place of other registered voters.
But they do supress voter turnout among the poor. This benefits Republicans. That is why courts have struck down many laws requiring photo ID to vote. |
|
Are the poor genetically defective and can not figure out how to get an ID, when it is easy and needed in everyday life ? Try to exercise your right to rent a hotel room without a photo ID.
How does the photo ID requirement only benefit Republicans ? How does the photo ID requirement only hurt Democrats ?
Federal law requires people who want to register to vote, to provide ID.[This message has been edited by cliffw (edited 08-31-2024).]

You just can't compare a person's right to enter a private entertainment venue with their right to vote.
Try suggesting that everyone has to prove they are a citizen before being allowed to own a gun. See if your side gets it then.

The idea that requiring ID is voter suppression is absurd and transparent.
